We're going for short and sweet today, folks. I was down for the count all day yesterday with nasty, quick-acting stomach virus. Luckily, it was also short-lived, and I seem to be on the mend today. But I'm behind a day in my various responsibilities, and today will be busy enough as it is, so concise is the name of the game.
I loved this outfit. It combined two pieces that, while both adored, have been hard for me to style. I've worn this skirt once before, and I just love it. The color is phenomenal, the pattern is so fun, and it fits perfectly. But for some reason it's been hard to style. I don't have a lot of orange, and it feels like a cop-out to just pair it with brown, which is my first instinct. These shoes, too, have been a challenge for me. I am absolutely over-the-moon about them, but every time I put them on I worry if they look ridiculous. In any case, I think I may have unlocked the wardrobe that leads me to sartorial Narnia with this combination.
