Thanks again to everyone who voted for us online over the competition. It was a really fun trip to the Awards Ceremony and we all got a wee break from the sewing machines. Congrats to Faye for pulling off a really nice night and to Sinead Desmond ( TV3, Ireland AM) for doing a terrific job on MC. It was quite a cool event and I have no doubt it will only grow from here on in. Congrats to everyone who participated on the night. It's so lovely to see so much shining talent on one little Island!!! Perhaps if we engaged with each other more often in the Irish fashion industry we wouldn't lose so many of our young talents to fields afar. It would be nice to see some of our Irish Designers/Stylists/Photographers being able to carve our a future here in Ireland. I can only imagine that events such as this would only add and enrich the industry here and showcase homegrown talent.
