We Sang the Night Away

I'm really tired this morning. Joe and I went out last night with one of our good friends, to make sure we got together before Joe heads out of town. It was loads of fun (but not too much fun...), but we didn't get home until pretty late and I'm just dragging this morning. There's lots to do today, so this second cup of coffee better kick in soon!

My puh-puh-poker face my puh-poker face.

I've been dealing with my summer sartorial stagnation (haha. Now I can't get enough of ridiculous alliteration) by re-purposing certain pieces from my wardrobe. I did it awhile ago with my autumnal-hued dress, and I did it again with this black sheath dress. I've worn it before, and it's a good staple, but I love the paper-bag, a-line silhouette it has as a skirt! I felt tres parisienne.

Title song: Gordon Lightfoot, "Second Cup of Coffee" (yup, that's how inspired I am this morning. Picking songs that literally reflect my day. I'll do better tomorrow.)
