Last weekend was awesome. As I mentioned earlier this week, Elena and Adam were in Madison to hang out with her sister, Anna, and Joe and I met up with them for a mid-day stroll and picnic (hot and spicy cheesebread and homemade pumpkin pie, with a farmers' market doughnut to wash it all down). It was lovely to see Elena again, and to finally meet Anna and the man behind the camera, Adam.

Joe and I spent a good chunk of the weekend being productive and getting stuff done, but we also made time to appreciate the lovely autumn weather and breathtaking fall colors. We also saw some fireworks.
