Our Bridal Client Lauren sent us these stunning images from her special day recently. Lauren looks like an absolute vision in her vintage inspired Bridal ensemble. Client Corner ~ Daniela

Gals,

Ya know it never gets old opening an email from a happy bride who takes the time to stop by and share her wedding photos with us. Most of the time we send out packages worldwide and wave them off for good, but every now and again a sweet client will pay us a visit and share their magical day with us. It's an awesome feeling to see one of our boleros on a real life bride on the other side of the world!!! Nothing like that feeling. :)

Daniela is one such gal, who recently got in touch to share her magical day with us. We were absolutely delighted to see her pics in our inbox this week and it really took the edge off a tricky week. I think you will agree that Daniela and her handsome hubby look absolutely beautiful in their pictures! Daniela truly makes a stunning Bride!!

Client Corner ~ Colleen

Gals,

We were recently blown away by these stunning images from our client Colleens gorgeous New York Penthouse Wedding. Colleen purchased our "Ivory Tulle Rococco Wrap" to compliment her designer wedding gown and it worked out beautifully with her overall ensemble.

We were thrilled to have an opportunity to see Colleens album by photographer Jen Huang! Doesn't the wedding look like an absolutely gorgeous day! Colleen had a ceremony in Central Park and by the look of the smiles on the faces it looks to be a really magical day for everyone.

We loved working with Colleen , she was such a pleasurable client and really included us in her special day.

Irish Brides Magazine Feature!

A Spring in our Step!

After a long and rainy winter here in Ireland we have sourced high and low for some bright vivid colors for our raw silk dupioni wraps as Spring approaches! Its a nice sunburst of color in store and hopefully there will be one that catches your eye. ( My favourite is the Apple Green)

As promised we have been working on some new stock for the shop and back by popular demand are our upcycled one of a kind layered petticoat skirts. We will be bringing lots of new pieces into the shop over the coming weeks and as the title suggests, these items are very unique and one of a kind so if your coveting one, its

Bolero De La Pierrot and a very poorly little Sis.

Today my sis joined me for the day and we decided to spend the time together having a bit of fun and doing our own photoshoot. It was her first time modelling for pics and I think she did a really cool job. I got some new snaps of our newest Pierrot range for the shop. ;)

At the last shot she turned to me and said she felt she was going to be sick, I thought she was joking as she had one of the wedding dresses on at the time and I looked again and a freaky shade of green took over her face and we frantically stripped her out of the dress while she ran for cover. Poor girl, who knew she was feeling so poorly, such nice shots from a very sick model.

Well, we are all about the glamour here folks. lol

TopsyTurvy Collaborative

We recently had the pleasure of collaborating with one of our all time favourite innovative etsy peers, TopsyTurvyDesigns. Kim is one of the most exciting milliners on etsy and constantly creates wearable art with her sculptural theatrical inspired pieces. It was awesome to send some of our neck pieces over to the States for a photoshoot by the Kate O Brien Collective and the results were really special.

Client Corner.

Lately we have been very fortuanate to have worked with some really special clients for their wedding accoutrement's. Many of these ladies have returned to share pics of their special day with us and we have been collecting up all these images and we thought it would be nice to share them with you. We decided to have a post on the blog each week dedicated to "Client Corner" to share some of the inspirational images that come back to us through our etsy clients.
The pic shown above is from an absolutely fabulous bride who we worked with a wee while ago for a vintage inspired shrug. I adore the photo and how it has captured such a natural looking couple on such an amazing day, I love the ethereal nature of this shot! The photographer for the day was Nadia Anderson, a lady with a gifted eye for style! The whole shot has such an editorial quality to it, truly like a fashion spread for vogue, I'm thinking the fact that our client looks like a model and has a fabulously handsome beau helps somewhat too ;)
Thank you guys for sharing this with us both, it is so uplifting to see our creations in real life situations, heres to a magical future for you both.
