Client Corner ~ Lindsey

Gals, we were so excited when we received our clients Lindsey's photographs! I just love the rawness, the edgyness of these and had to check out the photographer that Lindsey worked with.

Talented photographer John Yates of http://www.beyondbrokenmedia.com/ is a stunning artist creating very distinctive work with a deconstructed edge, and urban sensibilities!

We had no idea Lindsey was such a great model herself and turns out she also has a rockstar boyfriend and wore our piece to a concert the Saturday she received it. I love to hear the personal stories of the new owners of our work, it really gives us a sense of the global reach of the internet and the journey that our pieces take after they leave the studio!

Thanks to Lindsey Farrar for sharing her stunning modelling pics with us all and to John for taking such cool work!

Gothic Nights

We are working on adding a darker vein to the collection this season as winter and halloween approach. In actual fact I have seen a wee rise in the number of brides looking for dark/black wraps and boleros to compliment ivory/white wedding dresses. This is a really interesting alternative bridal trend emerging and brings a whole new meaning to the term, black tie wedding!

Gals, Ger and I are heading up the country this Sunday for another photoshoot adventure with a bust of more stock! It is staged at an antique manor estate which I am burstin to see. I love haunted olde worlde Manor Houses! The decor , the atmosphere, the wallpaper! lol

I am really looking forward to a roadtrip and feels a bit like an adventure coming on! I will keep you posted how it goes.

Im still here!!!!!!!!!!

Hi guys,

I'm still here................

As you guys all know I have been making trackways through the list of custom orders in the shop of late and wanted to share this beauty with you before it leaves the store on its merry way to an awesome client across the pond.

I was given the colours black, ivory and pewter to create a matching set that would compliment a very elegant black dress for a VIP wedding guest. I have to say had I not been asked to do this colour combo, I might never have come across such a cool combination. I really love the richness of how these little guys came out and I am also very excited that they are going to be worn too as a pair, I think they will look really funky with a refined black number!

Denim Baby doll hits the road!!

So the most hearted item in my shop has sold this week and is destined for Manchester, England. I am always amused to think that a piece of mine would be so far away in someones wardrobe! Its great.

I have been working on accessories this week as I am hoping that its a little easier to move things that don't require fitting. I have some stunning pieces on the way guys, and I will be doing a photoshoot next Saturday so hold tight for etsy shop update! Oh and a really quirky accessory on the way that will be sure to impress even the most discerning fashionistas!

Yesterday I had one of the most productive days ever in the studio and I am sure it was a lot to do with the fact that I had Amy Lee of Evanescence on play on the laptop all day! I was playing her music videos in the background and was imaginging her as a muse, it was great, I love that romantic, nostalgic, gothic, victorian flair to her videos and it really rubbed off in the pieces I came up with yesterday! So thank you Amy, (call me if you need any new items for your next video!!)lol

have a great weekend everyone.
