Yeah, so happy Memorial Day weekend, everyone!! I am so ready for this three day-er. Seriously. Remember that stack of paperwork I told you about on Monday? Well, at about 4:18 yesterday afternoon, I finally finished it all. I was out of that office so fast. I could not be more happy that it is Saturday. And I don't even mind that I have a work thing to go to this afternoon, because I can wear jeans, eat watermelon, and play with my boss's kids. Life is good when your Saturday afternoon is comprised of beer, barbecue, and taking about giant squids with 5-year-olds. It's gonna be good, y'all. It's gonna be good.

I played pretty much no part in coming up with the idea for this outfit. Granted, there's not much of an idea there anyway, since it's just glorified jeans and a t-shirt, but I snagged the double-scarf idea from this month's issue of Lucky mag. I've been getting the magazine for awhile, and I love reading it and looking at the glossy pictures of pretty things, but I finally took the time this month to bookmark things that I wanted to try. I refused to bookmark anything that had components that I would have to purchase in order to try the look, so it's now filled with bookmarks of ideas for outfits using things that I already have. I'm trying really hard to cut back on my spending recently, so I'm doing everything I can to get inspiration for how to use what I already have. So far so good!
