Ahh, I love a good three-day weekend. It's Monday, but I'm not at work. I'm not at work! In fact, I'm not even at my computer! Nope. This is a scheduled post. I'm out, in the sunshine (I hope), hanging out with Joe on our day off together. I'm kind of a big fan of this weekend, and there's no way I'm gonna gonna waste my third day off inside. What have you done this weekend? Any holiday barbecues? Camping trips? Street fairs? To me, Memorial Day weekend always marks the beginning of summer (the same way that Labor Day weekend ends it), and I can't help but start getting excited for all the summertime activities that are sure to come in the next few months!
This is one of my favorite easy weekend outfits. Jeans? Check! Stripes? Check! Comfy flats? Check! Favorite yellow cardigan? Check and check! Joe and I spent the evening hanging out with Emily and some other friends, and this was perfect for drinking red wine and homebrews, eating chocolate chips (with sea salt on top - holy good gravy, those were good, good cookies), and enjoying impromptu "safety dance" dance parties. Good times.
