So the weather is just getting more and more perfect here. The days have been just wonderful, super warm in the sunshine, cool in the shade, with perfect breezes. We've had all the windows open in our apartment for days now, and it's been so refreshing and awesome. The days are also getting longer, which means that our apartment is filled with warm, beautiful light until long into the evening. Gah! I love spring!

So I just cannot get enough of stripes this year. Seriously, it's stripes, stripes, stripes. It seriously takes all of my willpower every morning to not reach for one of my striped shirts. It's going to be my new uniform, for sure. I can't wait until the heat of summer, going on awesome bike rides in cuffed denim shorts, striped shirts, and these amazing shoes that I will literally wear until they fall apart on my feet. Hmm, this is a nice opportunity to segue into my out-of-control rave about these shoes. I saw them on the Urban Outfitters website, decided against them, and then finally gave in at the UO downtown. And seriously, guys, these are awesome. They're super comfy, super cute, and match with basically everything I wear. I'm pretty sure these will be worn with 9 out of 10 outfits for the next until forever.

Joe and I had a blast taking these pictures! I know I've mentioned this before, but we've been taking walks out to the lake shore after I get off work, and it's just been the perfect way to get to know the neighborhood, enjoy the delightful weather, and spend some quality time together in the evenings. I'm really looking forward to late afternoons in the summer, when we can walk to the beach after I get done with work and soak up some rays before the sun goes down. Ah...so I know I just said that I really love spring, but now I'm so excited for summer! So fickle... :)
