I have been thinking a lot about wardrobe staples and go-to outfits lately, and I have realized that I am a denim kind of gal. I don't know if it's my Wyoming roots or my love of simple comforts, but I am (and will eternally be) drawn to denim. What jeans are to me in the winter months, denim minis are as it gets warmer. This skirt in particular is great...so comfy, matches with everything, and the perfect length and fit.
Now onto the shirt! If you can't see it properly (it is click-to-enlarge, if you want to see closer), the print on this t-shirt says: "World Space Foundation Solar Sail Project". It's an old shirt of my dad's that I salvaged a few years ago when he was throwing things out. It's completely worn out, with holes in some of the seams and on the print, but it is the comfiest t-shirt I've ever worn. And I love the dorky print (so my dad's shirt). This was the comfiest day ever. E.V.E.R.
The beaded leather cuff that I'm wearing today is awesome as well. Sorry I didn't get a closeup of it, but I'll try to do so the next time I wear it. Joe's mom sent it to me for my birthday. Totally unexpected, and totally something that I've been looking for lately anyway! Thanks, Joe's Mom!
I wasn't happy with a lot of my head-on pictures today, so you get to see my haircut for the first time from these weird angles. I love it! I have had it like this before, and I forgot how free and sexy it makes me feel. Bring it on, summer!
