Out 'n about in Arizona
This will be the last of my posts from our Arizona vacation over the break. Joe and I spent all day out and about, going to museums, having lunch, walking all throughout town. It was exhausting, but in that fabulous, "I'm-on-vacation-and-I-do-what-I-want" kind of way. We also found lots of places to take pictures, and I ended up with more than I could possibly post. Even in December, the desert light makes for some incredible photo-taking. It just makes January in Chicago that much harder.
I was experiencing a bit of writer's block while I was writing this post, so I asked Joe to dictate to me, and that I'd write whatever he said. So, without further adieu: "Hello, fashion public! Wait, what's this for?" That's all I got before he clammed up, but I thought it was great. Unfortunately, this wasn't enough to cure my writer's block (I keep wanting to write "blog" instead of "block"). I've had lots of inspiration lately, but not tons of energy to use it, which it too bad. I'm really hoping that in the next couple of weeks I get the chance to really recuperate from the past few months. I love the new start I'm getting at my new job (and the fact that it coincides with the new year is appropriate), but there were a lot of challenges in the past year that I think I'm still reeling from. I think it will all balance out soon, though. I think exciting things are forthcoming.
Also, I will probably be on another internet hiatus for a few days. I'm going out of town this weekend to be with my family, and my computer is not coming with me. See you Sunday!
