These boots were so totally made for walking. Specifically, I think they were made for walking in Chicago winters. The lug sole has the most marvelous tread, and they look cute with dresses and are wide enough to tuck pants into. As much as I love my snowboots, and as handy as they are on supremely blizzardy days, I think these puppies are going to be dragged out much more often for day-to-day use.
I got my hairs trimmed the day before I wore this outfit, and I was totally feeling the androgynous, menswear/boarding-school-uniform vibe. I like how it turned out, but I wish that this sweater vest was a bit more fitted. I kind of felt like there was just a lot of fabric up top, and while the AA mini balanced it out, it wasn't my favorite.
And ah! It's Wednesday! I have a dinner date in Chinatown tonight with an old friend, and I still have so much to accomplish before the weekend! Wish me luck!
