Can I please tell you how much I was digging my outfit today? I was digging it. This was a total comfort zone outfit. One of those outfits where I just felt awesomely comfortable. So it pretty much was better than wearing pajamas. I'm definitely one of those people who comes home from work and promptly changes into my fleece pajama pants and sweatshirt cardi (yup, I have a sweatshirt cardi, which is pretty much the most amazing article of clothing ever created). My work clothes don't make it much longer than 5 o'clock. Don't get me wrong, I love my work clothes, and I always try to wear things that are pretty comfortable, but I'm so much cozier in my PJs. It's a full transformation: heels to slippers, skirts and dresses to pajamas, contact lenses to glasses. Cinderella all the way. But today's outfit was better than all that. Even though I didn't do a whole lot with my day, and I could have easily stuck with the fleece pants, I felt infinitely more comfortable with my shorts and tights and Chucks. These Chucks are so great. I wore my low-top pair of tomato-red Chuck Taylors every day in high school, until they literally fell apart. These ones don't get quite as much wear, but will always be close to my heart. They fill me with love and happiness when I wear them. What about you all? Do you have any great fallback comfort items? What about the pajama situation? Are you like me, changing into your PJs as you walk through the door, or do you stay dolled up all day?
