Apron Madness
Outfit details:
Black mid-length shirt: thrifted
Striped silk blouse: Old Navy
Maroon zip-up: gift
Khaki corduroys: Old Navy
Black booties: Payless
Where:
Work, and then home for pizza, red wine, and Family Guy
I like today's look, but I'm not crazy about it. It's pretty subdued, but appropriate for work. This striped silk blouse is fun, though. I felt like a cross between a 50's housewife and a French maid, since it seemed to remind me of an apron (consequently, I was inspired to wear this piece after reading this post at Darling Dexter!). It's amazing what a few ruffles can do!
The mug that I'm holding in this photo was made for me by my best friend. It has been with me for years and I love-love-love it! It fits my little hand just right, and it holds lots of coffee, which is a big must for my ceramics. Thanks, David!
