It is so not spring today. But I'm trying, I'm really trying. This dress is hardly long enough to be a dress anymore (I'm not sure if it shrank or if my standards of decency rose), so I pretty much have to wear it over jeans anyway. I know the whole "dress over pants" thing is controversial, but I like this look. It feels more like a tunic, anyway. Joe called me a hippie all day, so I guess it worked.
This action shot is nothing short of ridiculous, but I felt like I really needed some sort of Spring-esque motion in one of my pictures. I tried spinning and I tried jumping, and this was the best that I got. Please note my silly jumping face. I do like, however, that I look like I'm just suspended in the air.
I love these rainboots so much, and even though the weather today was terrible for everything else, there was a little part of me that smiled at the storm because I knew I would wear my boots to work. They are not work-appropriate shoes, of course, so I took my favorite ballet flats along to change into. I'm also love-love-loving this ring, despite the fact it's already turned my finger green.
