I discovered on Tuesday that the problem with not having a full-length mirror in my apartment is that it is impossible to gauge how short a skirt or dress is. I've worn this sweater-dress before a few times this season, but it was always on the weekend, so I never thought twice about it. So in my sleepy pre-coffee stupor this morning I threw it on with tights (hopefully that's the last time I say that this season!) and called it a day. It was minimal effort, very comfortable, and still warm enough to keep my blood flowing in my freezing office. It was also short.
What do you all think? Is this too short for office work? My workplace is really casual, but still. I felt self-conscious about it all day and didn't venture out of my office very often. It's too bad that I thought about the length of the dress all day, because I actually think it's a pretty cute outfit, and I just didn't get to enjoy it to its fullest.
