Where:
Work, then dinner in Chinatown and sweet concert at Martyr's on the north side.
Sorry I've been lazy with posting this weekend. I got super busy on Saturday (this post), and on Easter Sunday, Joe and I instituted a "no-computer" rule so we could spend time together. More on that later...
This outfit turned out to be a source of a lot of stress initially. I knew I'd be at work all day, but my friend and I had dinner + bar/concert plans later, so I needed something both comfortable and versatile, both work appropriate and rockin'. Result? I love this outfit! I feel very Southwest, with the turquoise and orange combination, but in a good way. I am from Colorado, after all, so it was really just back to my roots.
Girl's night out was a much needed antidote to all the work and stress I've had lately. The concert was an amazing cross of Bollywood-inspired DJ-ing, a beyond-lively reggae/hip-hop group, and traditional Indian singing. The whole night was introduced as "Bombay beatbox presents..." What fun!
