I am sososo excited! I have a few Etsy purchases on their way and I'm just
dying to break them out! A couple are gifts, since my whole family decided to have their birthdays in April/May, plus there's Mother's Day and my sister's graduation from college. But a couple are just for me! Yay!

I've been on a bit of a cheap jewelry binge lately. Most of the rings I've been wearing are new. I love rings; I think they are such interesting pieces of jewelry. And I like big gaudy statement rings. They always look especially intrusive on my hands, which are small and dainty, or so I've been told. Still, I love them. And this one in particular is so unique and really just...
weird.

I
love this shirt. It was a gift from my parents after one of their trips to Italy. I think it's from Venice. The design is so unique and interesting. I've never quite figured out exactly what it's supposed to be, but I like it anyway. And this skirt always makes me feel cute, no matter what. It was gorgeous weather today, but not
hot per say, so I thought it was perfect to bust out this wool skirt one last time this season. It's a tad itchy on bare legs, but if it does the trick I can ignore a few prickles. I'm trying to take tips from Sal at
Already Pretty and smile more in my pictures.
Also, in part due to inspiration from
S. and
A. at
Academichic, I went running this morning! Not a marathon, but it was about time.
