I don't normally post outfits on the weekend, but I'm sitting on the floor in Joe's living room, waiting for dinner to be ready (I'm making pork loin with a red onion and cranberry wine sauce and orzo pilaf with almonds and pine nuts), so I thought I'd throw a few long-overdue photos out there.
Y'all, I luuurve these boots. I have worn them at every possible opportunity since buying them, and now that they're broken in and the leather is all buttery, I'm just as happy as a little clam. A clam wearing fabulous boots. (Ha! Are you guys imagining a clam wearing boots?? 'Cause I am. And it's awesome.) I wore this outfit last Saturday, when Joe and I spent the day wandering around the Garfield Park Conservatory. I unintentionally ended up dressing like the Irish flag, which was hilariously appropriate since Chicago celebrated St. Patrick's day on Saturday. Oh, and these are the final "before" shots of my hair before I got it trimmed a bit on Wednesday! I'm sorry to be keeping you all in such suspense, because honestly the cut wasn't that drastic, but I wanted to post all the "before" pictures before I delve into the "after" ones. I really love the cut, and I think it will allow it to keep growing out really well, but I'll let you be the judge on Monday.
After dinner, Joe and I are going to go outside and ogle the supermoon for awhile. It's a calm evening, perfect for moon-gazing, retrospecting, and Avett Brothers playlists on Pandora.
I hope you're all having a beautiful weekend.
