Sweatshirt: UO * Khakis: Old Navy * Heels: Swedish Hasbeens * Bag: vintage Kenneth Cole * Socks: Target * Belt: thrifted * Bangle: H&M
I felt supremely badass in this outfit. I can't even tell you. Something about the rad sweatshirt and '70s vibe just left me walking with an extra spring in my step all day. I rarely dig out these khakis anymore (they're ancient), since I've generally strayed from khakis for awhile, but I just love how they work with this outfit, and just might have to pull them out more often this spring.
I'm very short on words this morning, as I'm on my way to a dentist's appointment (low on words and, probably by the time you're all reading this, high on local anesthesia). I have a feeling that I'm going to be a cavity-prone hot mess today, so keep your fingers crossed that there is minimal pain and maximum calcium. Or something like that.
After the dentist, and work, Joe and I are jetting out of town for a few days. I couldn't be more ready for a break, and I'm really looking forward to home-cooked meals, lazy brunches, homebrewed beers, long walks along the lakes, city exploring, shoe repairing (I have a few pairs of boots that need re-soling), sleeping late, watching movies, sunshine, warm weather, and the first hints of spring.
Title song: Little Shop of Horrors, "Dentist!" (gah, I luuurve Steve Martin)
