So I know it's not an outfit post, and I know I've been majorly slacking on my posts this weekend, but I wanted to brag about the meal that my mom and I had this evening. All fresh and delicious, and oh-so-simple. This Gruner Veltliner wine is one of my favorites, and perfect for a summer meal. Light, refreshing, perfect when chilled. Paired with fresh Michigan blueberries and yellow raspberries (which I swear are yellow even though they look red with the flash!) and delicious bread and Brie, it was a pretty wonderful evening. We've had a crazy weekend of shopping, seeing family, eating, drinking, walking, exploring, and everything in between. So I'm unbelievably exhausted but it's been wonderful. Today we had a perfect blue sky, not a cloud to be seen, and tons of chatting and bonding and fun. And this meal was a perfect end to it.
