Chicago was majorly muggy on this fine Sunday so I spent most of the time inside. I had big plans to go across town with one of my friends, but because of the heat and a conflicting meeting on her schedule, we decided to meet more locally for gelato. It was nice to have an excuse to get out of the apartment and walk around a bit, but I was happy to be back in the A/C when we were done. But I was happy to find these great murals under one of the train bridges in my neighborhood. So gorgeous; they totally outshine me!
My outfit today is simple and comfortable. I'm really loving using sports bras as summer layers, too. They allow a bit more modesty, when needed, and I've found that they're way more resilient to the sticky summer heat than an underwire anyway. And in this outfit the coral Hanes bra created a nice red-based color palette, which I thought made the whole thing a bit more interesting.
