Joe had another meeting in Evanston today, so we spent the day exploring town. It was an absolutely unbelievable day, 65* and sunny, and it was lovely walking along the lakefront, watching students hustle from class to class, admiring the gorgeous changing leaves, and just taking a day out of the city. Joe's meeting went great, which is wonderful, and we had a simply delightful day together.
Today's outfit was basically just based around comfort. I knew we'd be sitting on the train a long time, and walking a lot, so I wanted to make sure I'd be comfy for the day. I actually ended up taking off the sweater and wearing a t-shirt for some of the day since it was so pretty out. I do love this sweater, though, especially the darling button detailing. Oh, and see those little silver glints near my ankles? Those are safety pins keeping my pants hemmed. Yup, that's right, I hem my pants with safety pins. Classy.
p.s. Hi, Mom!
